What the world is waiting for: A picture of Padraig Harrington in glasses

The Dubliner is +4 after two rounds. As Homer Simpson would say, “He probably misses his old glasses.”

PADRAIG HARRINGTON IS 17 shots behind leader Tiger Woods at the halfway stage of the WGC Cadillac Championships in Doral, Florida.

More importantly, the Irishman is getting used to life as a bespectacled golfer.

Harrington wore the new rims for the first time in competitive action on Thursday and is pictured [below] punching a drive up the 12th fairway.

The Dubliner recorded a round of 72 yesterday and is currently on-course in his third round.

He began with a birdie but gave that shot back with a bogey on the second hole. Graeme McDowell, Rory McIlroy and Woods tee off later today.

Harrington’s travails made us think of this Simpson’s moment and the wise words of Homer:
