IRISH INTERNATIONAL PADDY MADDEN has been placed on the transfer list by Yeovil Town.
The 23-year old was League One’s top goalscorer last season as Yeovil earned promotion to the Championship but has failed to retain a starting role this year.
His performances did, however, earn him a call up to the Irish senior squad; winning his first cap in a friendly with Wales in August.
Reports have emerged in recent weeks that the Irishman and manager Gary Johnson had a difficult relationship but Johnson said earlier this month that he expected the striker to return to form after they had resolved their differences.
However, this move by the club, who revealed no further details in brief statement on their website, suggests that Madden’s time at Huish Park will soon come to an end.
