INCREDIBLY, IT HAS been eight years since Marc O’Se failed to start for Kerry in a senior championship match.
The full-back has been an ever-present in the team for the best part of a decade – winning four All-Ireland medals along the way.
This weekend, however, the 32-year-old will be sat in the stands for the Kingdom’s Munster SFC meeting with Tipperary in Thurles for the first time since the Munster final win over Cork back in 2004, when he started as a substitute .
A hamstring injury has ruled the three-time All Star winner out but, according to GAA.ie, he is not expected to be missing for more than a couple of weeks.
