Four year-old cancer survivor, Oscar Knox will tonight lead Celtic out in Glasgow as they look to build upon the 3-0 lead taken from the second round Champions League qualifier first leg in Solitude last week.
Months after beating the aggressive neuroblastoma, Wee Oscar (as he is known to his 33,135 Twitter followers) has travelled to Scotland with his parents Stephen and Leona and his sister Isobella for a night of European football with a distinctly Belfast flavour.
“It’s perfect with the Belfast connection,” Stephen Knox told IrishNews.com. ” It’s a massive game for Cliftonville. I was at the first leg at Solitude. Oscar couldn’t go. It’s great we are all going to this one.
“[Oscar] is going to have a great time and we just can’t wait to hear the cheer he gets.”
