Big Decision

Open Thread: Is it time for Declan Kidney to resign?

Do you agree with George Hook?

IRELAND HAD 80% of the possession in Sunday’s Six Nations clash with Scotland at Murrayfield, but once again a series of handling, set piece and kicking errors led to defeat from the jaws of victory.

The decision to start with Paddy Jackson at ten backfired spectacularly, while Ronan O’Gara’s crossfield punt is set to provide an inauspicious coda to a brilliant career in the Irish jersey.

George Hook, speaking immediately after the game, said that Ireland coach Declan Kidney needs to walk away from the job.
