WE GET THE feeling he’ll be sorry he asked. But here goes.

Former Manchester United and England defender Gary Neville says he’s heading for Galway on a ‘stag do’ and he’s asked his almost 725,000 Twitter followers: “Any tips on places to go / Things to do?”

Racing at Ballybrit? A pint on Shop Street? A walk along the prom in Salthill? Let’s have those suggestions for the Sky Sports iPad-maestro…

He should head down the Wehst. I’m sure Massimos would make him very welcome, despite his heritage.

Also, as they serve till 2, he and his mates can avoid the shiteclubs of Galway.

For the ‘something to do bit’, a day trip, or maybe an overnighter, to one of the Aran Islands is the best bet.

Galway is best enjoyed …in Westport…..If you have been to Westport and then go to Galway…you will get my drift.Though to be fair there are more drugs to be had in galway and I am not talking lemsip.

Fly into Dublin and I’ll pick you up in my taxi and fill you in on the way down the M6…. Into Galway, down the bus lane first stop Galway Hospice to drop off your large donation cheque. Thank god for your blessings and enjoy Galway and it’s beautiful people. I came here for a weekend 22 yrs ago and never went back. It’s beyond words….
