Some of them have them framed and hang them on the wall. Some give them away as presents or auction them for charity.
And if you’re Obafemi Martins, you use them to upholster a unique set of personalised chairs. Obviously.
The former Newcastle United striker tweeted out these pictures with each chair made from the jersey of one of his many, many clubs.
At least they’re not sitting in the bottom of a wardrobe.
