VIDEO: Niall Quinn, Junior B Gaelic football manager

The former Sunderland chairman has a slightly less glamorous role in sport nowadays.

THE SUNDAY GAME recently shadowed former Ireland international Niall Quinn, who these days manages Eadestown’s Junior ‘B’ team in the Kildare championship.

Ahead of their clash with Kilcock, Quinn, who lined out for Dublin’s minor hurlers before carving out a career in English football, stresses the importance of keeping possession.

One thing is for certain, it’s a far cry from overseeing Sunderland in the Premier League.
