20.44 – RED CARD! -

Clare 3-13 Tipperary 1-19
Despite having the better of the chances, Clare can’t win the game in normal time and we’ll have an extra 20 minutes.
Cork 3-18 Waterford 0-16
A brilliant second half performance from the Rebels has seen them ease into the Munster U21 final with an 11 point win over their hosts in Walsh Park.
20.56 – We’ll have coverage of extra-time from Cusack Park and it should be a bit easier on my fingers now that there’s just one game to cover.
Mind you, I can’t be anywhere near as tired of some of those Clare players who are facing another extra-time.
And the first period of extra-time is about to get under way.
21.04 – Tipperary 1-21 Clare 3-13 – 3mins ET: Jason Forde with the first two scores of extra time as the sun starts to slowly set in Cusack Park.
21.04 – Tipperary 1-21 Clare 3-14 – 4mins ET: Aaron Cunningham gets Clare’s first score of extra time. Important point for the home side.
21.05 – Clare 3-15 Tipperary 1-21 - 5mins ET: David Reidy makes it a level game again, we’re nearly half-way through extra-time.
21.05 – Clare 3-16 Tipperary 1-21 - 5mins ET: Bobby Duggan with a brilliant solo point there to send the homes side back into the lead.
21.06 – Clare 3-17 Tipperary 1-21 - 5mins ET: Colm Galvin makes it four unanswered points for Clare. After a great start to extra time from Tipp they’ve gone off the boil completely now and it’s all Clare.
21.08 – Clare 3-18 Tipperary 1-21 - 7mins ET: Bobby Duggan makes it a three-point game with three minutes to go in the first half of extra-time.
21.09 – Clare 3-19 Tipperary 1-21 - 8mins ET: Bobby Duggan yet again and this one’s in danger of getting away from Tipperary now.
21.11 – Clare 3-19 Tipperary 1-22 - 10mins ET: Jason Forde taps over a free for Tipp’s first score and it’s the last action of the first half.
HALF-TIME EXTRA-TIME -
Clare 3-19 Tipperary 1-22
The second half of extra-time has started and there’s 10 minutes to go in Cusack Park.
21.15 – Clare 3-19 Tipperary 1-23 - 11mins ET: Just like they did in the first, Tipperary have the first score of the second through Conor Hammersley.
21.17 – Clare 3-19 Tipperary 1-24 - 13mins ET: Shane O’Donnell is on for Clare but Tipp have it back to one point game, Stephen Cahill with the latest score.
21.17 – GOAL FOR CLARE! Clare 4-19 Tipperary 1-24 - 14mins ET: Aaron Cunningham has Clare’s fourth goal of the game just as Tipperary got it back to the minimum.
21.20 – Clare 4-19 Tipperary 1-24 - 15mins ET: Jason Forde goes for goal from a 20m free and the sliotar goes out for a ’65. Cathal Barrett sends the ’65 wide.
21.22 – Clare 4-19 Tipperary 1-24 - 18mins ET: Jason Forde misses another goal chance, great save by Keith Hogan.
21.23 – Clare 4-19 Tipperary 1-24 - 19mins ET: Four points in it entering the final minute. It goes without saying that points are no use to Tipperary now.
21.24 – Clare 4-19 Tipperary 1-25 - 20mins ET: Dan McCormack makes it a one score game. Tipp need the puck out.
21.25 – GOAL FOR CLARE! Clare 5-19 Tipperary 1-25 - 20+2mins ET: Tony Kelly hits the post and Shane O’Donnell is there to wrap up this game for Clare.
Clare 5-19 Tipperary 1-25
It’s all over in Cusack Park and Clare and Tipperary have served up a classic. Clare will defend their Munster title against Cork in two weeks and, given the Rebels’ four goals this evening, will need to show similar fire-power to that on display tonight.
21.28 – And that’s it from me.
Thanks as always for joining in.
We’ll have full reports from both games up shortly.
