PAUL O’CONNELL TOOK a full-blooded part in Munster training at CIT this afternoon if the photos from Cork are anything to go by. The Ireland captain is never anything less than full-on in his commitment, and looked to enjoy a bit of mauling practice.

New South African signing Gerhard van den Heever may make his debut for the province on Friday night away to the Dragons and also trained with the squad earlier today. Here are some of the best shots:
