Poll: Should there be an open draw or seeding in the Munster SFC?

The structure of the football championship in the southern province has come under debate.

THE MUNSTER COUNCIL meet tonight to discuss the ongoing controversy of seeding in their senior football championship.

Two weeks ago, it was voted to seed the heavyweights Kerry and Cork in next year’s championship draw.

But after players from Limerick, Clare, Tipperary and Waterford expressed their dissatisfaction with the ruling, a motion to reintroduce the open draw is now being proposed.

Ahead of the important meeting, where a two-thirds majority will be needed to reverse the original decision, we want to get your views. What system should be put in place?

Poll Results:

Open Draw - It's the fairest system and gives the weaker counties something to aim for and a chance to improve. (660)
Seeding - Keep Kerry and Cork apart to give better chance of a glamour Munster final. (121)
