FERMANAGH OFFICIALS WILL meet tonight in a bid to resolve the current stand-off with the county’s footballers.

A terse GAA statement reads: “The GAA and GPA can confirm that a further meeting of the Fermanagh GAA Management Committee will be held [tonight] to address relevant matters concerning the county’s senior football team.

“Again, and in accordance with agreed protocols, no further comment will be made by any party until after this meeting.”

This evening’s talks will be the second meeting in three days.

Several of the county’s senior footballers have quit the panel in a dispute with manager John O’Neill, with whom they have clashed.
