ANTHONY DALY IS today planning without David Treacy for Sunday’s All-Ireland SHC semi-final with Tipperary at Croke Park.
The Cuala clubman tore his hamstring during a weekend training session and will be out for up to six weeks.
Treacy initially tweaked it during the Leinster championship win against Galway earlier this summer.
The setback is, of course, the latest in a sucession of injury blows for the Dubs.
Tomás Brady, Conal Keaney – who was hurt in a motorcycle accident – and Stephen Hiney have all been ruled out with cruciate knee injuries. Treacy’s clubmate Oisín Gough, meanwhile, has a broken hand.
Anthony Daly’s men will face Kilkenny in the All-Ireland decider should they manage to stun defending champions Tipp this weekend.
