IF YOU HAPPENED to be in the vicinity of Harcourt Street night club Copper Face Jack’s last night, chances are you were in the same room as some of Ireland’s Olympic boxing heroes.
According to his fellow bronzed Belfast brawler, Paddy Barnes, flyweight medallist Michael Conlan lost his iPhone in that particular region of Dublin 2.
Newtalk’s Off The Ball team are reporting that Conlan hadn’t even allowed alcohol pass his lips when the device slipped from his grasp and was in fact continuing one of many meet and greet sessions with enthusiastic fans.
Now, if you lifted it by mistake – or by ‘mistake’ – we know the predicament you’re in. But please, lets get Conlan his phone back.
It contains more than just the phone numbers he can’t remember, it also has all the pictures from his time at the Olympic Games – an experience most of us will never enjoy once, never mind a second time.
So, if you do have that little black block of technological genius, here are some pictures (he tweeted) that will prove it’s Conlan’s.
Hope he had “find my iPhone”
activated. If he had, he can trace it down to an exact location that he, Paddy, Katie, John Joe and the rest of the boxing squad can visit…
