French defender was sent off — but not for this — during Sunday’s defeat against Juventus.

AC MILAN DEFENDER Philippe Mexes has been banned for four matches for this punch on Juventus’s Giorgio Chiellini.

The incident was missed by the match officials but after reviewing video footage, Serie A officials have suspended Mexes for an additional three games

Mexes must also serve an automatic one-match ban after he was sent off later in the game.

Milan have also been fined €50,000 and ordered to play their next match behind closed doors after their fans were found guilty of “insulting” chanting on Sunday.

On top of all that, they lost 3-2 and remain in 12th while Juve moved to within two points of league leaders Roma.

Hardly a punch! These soccer players would give you a pain in your hole. They should play hurling or rugby for 5 minutes and they would realise what toughness is
