LAST NIGHT’S GAME between FC Metalist Kharkiv and Chernomorets was interrupted by a barely believable pitch invasion which saw a referee’s assistant choked by a fan.
The supporter come out of nowhere and grabbed the linesman by the throat before police and stewards intervened. He wasn’t going down without a fight however, and several men were needed to escort him out of the stadium.
