WHY ALWAYS HIM?

Manchester City’s bad boy-turned good-turned bad again Mario Balotelli is back in the media spotlight, but this time it’s on the cover of Time magazine.

The Italian is the subject of a feature titled “The Infamously Mercurial Brilliance of the Soccer Star,” which pretty much sums Mad Mario up in a nutshell.

    Bit sad when a player is pretty much defined and known by his personality and not his ability to apply his talents to the game he is paid to play

    Man City’s 4th choice striker and yet he gets nominated for the Ballon D’Or.
    Is it a case of footballs bosses using someones personality to further the profile of the game? Or are they just getting idiotically swept away in the media hype?
