VISITORS TO MANCHESTER City’s online shop may have been completely baffled by the design for the club’s new away kit.
City appeared to be challenging Liverpool for the title of worst strip ever by designing a rather “unique” black number superimposed with an image of the Etihad Stadium.
We’ve never seen anything like it before so, while we admired City for pushing the envelope, our main reaction was one of complete revulsion. Who in their right mind is going to spend £60 on that?
(Plenty of people, no doubt.)
Before you all rush to buy, City have confirmed that the image is not their new away design but rather a placeholder before the strip is revealed.
