LEINSTER AND IRELAND winger Luke Fitzgerald has been withdrawn from tonightโs RaboDirect Pro12 game with Glasgow Warriors.
Fitzgeraldโs ongoing leg and groin injuries have resulted in him being pulled from the Leinster XV for the second time in three weeks. His place in the Blues line-up goes to Academy player Sam Coghlan-Murray.
Fitzgerald would have been hoping to prove his fitness to Leinster coach Matt OโConnor and Ireland boss Joe Schmidt. He was a favourite to start the Six Nations opener with Scotland but now looks likely to miss out on the entire campaign.
Warriors made a late change of their own as Mike Cusack dropped out of the front row. He was replaced by Ed Kalman. Jon Welsh comes in as tight-head prop replacement.
