Injury woes continue for Luke Fitzgerald as he pulls out of Leinster game

The winger has been replaced by Sam Coghlan-Murray for the home tie against Glasgow.

LEINSTER AND IRELAND winger Luke Fitzgerald has been withdrawn from tonightโ€™s RaboDirect Pro12 game with Glasgow Warriors.

Fitzgeraldโ€™s ongoing leg and groin injuries have resulted in him being pulled from the Leinster XV for the second time in three weeks. His place in the Blues line-up goes to Academy player Sam Coghlan-Murray.

Fitzgerald would have been hoping to prove his fitness to Leinster coach Matt Oโ€™Connor and Ireland boss Joe Schmidt. He was a favourite to start the Six Nations opener with Scotland but now looks likely to miss out on the entire campaign.

Warriors made a late change of their own as Mike Cusack dropped out of the front row. He was replaced by Ed Kalman. Jon Welsh comes in as tight-head prop replacement.
