Luis Suarez tells Uruguyan media about his Liverpool future: No 324 in the series

The Anfield favourite says he’s happy with the title hopefuls.

LUIS SUAREZ HAS insisted he is happy at Liverpool, despite reports linking with him a close-season move to Real Madrid.

The Uruguayan has been in sparkling form this season, with his 30 Premier League goals firing Liverpool to the top of the table with two matches remaining.

Speculation was rife that the striker would leave Anfield last year after he went public with his desire to play Champions League football, but Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers refused to allow his departure and the striker signed a new long-term contract in December.

Suarez’s performances this term had led to rumours resurfacing of a possible transfer after the FIFA World Cup, with Spanish giants Real Madrid reported to be interested in acquiring his services.

However, with Liverpool now guaranteed to be in next season’s Champions League, the 27-year-old has spoken of his happiness with life on Merseyside.

“I’m very happy here and my family is happy here,” he told Uruguayan television station Canal 10.

“Don’t worry, nothing is going to happen to me. If we could win the Premier League and bring the trophy home it would be incredible, a dream come true.”

Good man Luis. Your loyalty will always be questionable but if Madrid really want you you’ll have to convince them to lodge 110 million pounds into Liverpool’s pockets. Otherwise just be happy in your red Jersey.

Every player has their price….despite the new contracts and interviews saying they aren’t going anywhere. Liverpool will get a big transfer fee and Suarez gets to play for one of the best teams in the world. Win win.

Not really win win IF he goes. Considering the likes of Aspas, Alberto and Borini would you trust the Liverpool transfer committee with the Suarez money? Spurs lost Bale and spent the money on garbage by and large. Their performances then suffered because they missed a quality marque player. I’d rather keep Suarez personally.

Think its a matter of time before he leaves in coming months. Prem’ will lose another asset, pity. His fee will depend upon how his world cup goes. At the mo £70m? Maybe after, £90m? Cant see anyone turning down that kind of money.

He will be staying with Liverpool
He will be a Liverpool player next season

Like any top player there will always be clubs putting in a bid for a player

At some stage in next few years he might decide he wants to leave and Liverpool accept a bid it happens with all clubs
For now he is very happy playing for Liverpool and that’s what matters
Some players stay with one club during there playing career some leave to join another club

He’s been amazing this season and next season he be playing champions league with Liverpool

This season no matter how it finishes for Liverpool has been amazing more than most expected at the start of the season and it’s not over yet anything can still happen even still win the league pressure is on Man City now not to slip up all that’s needed is they lose
    or draw a game
