Up for the Match

You won't see a better video of a GAA team in an airport today

In fact, we’re pretty sure you won’t see one ever.

AS YOU KNOW by now, London have made history this year by reaching the Connacht Final for the first time.

To celebrate the achievement, the side teamed up the Aer Lingus Regional to film themselves playing football in and around Southend Airport to pass time on the trip over.

Eagle-eyed viewers will spot that the video riffs on the Brazil soccer team’s advert of a few years ago but it’s still good to see that the pressure of a Connacht Final hasn’t stopped the team enjoying themselves.

In other London news, their exploits have even gained them a spot on Sky Sports News.

Perhaps the most impressive aspect of the SSN report is the fact they pronounce Connacht correctly.
