GOOD EVENING

The 5 at 5 Gold medal win comes just minutes after picking up a silver in the 200m backstroke.

AMERICA’S RYAN LOCHTE clinched his fifth and sixth gold medals of the week at the world short course championships on Sunday when he won the 100m individual medley in 51.21sec, following it up by leading the US team home in the final of the 4x100m relay a few minutes later.

Lochte had already taken victory in the 200m freestyle, 4x100m freestyle relay, 4x200m freestyle relay and 200m individual medley.

Australia’s Kenneth To was second with George Bowell III of the United States taking third place.

Just minutes before the final, Lochte had won silver in the 200m backstroke.

He was, however, unable to beat the world record he set in the Saturday’s semi-final:
