A real blow for Munster as Aaron Shingler goes over to give the Scarlets the lead… Priestland, after hooking his first kick, also misses the conversion. Awful defending from Munster though.
Priestland – who could be a body double for O’Gara – gets his first kick on target and it’s 8-0. Where are Munster???
The centurion O’Gara sets his side on the attack for the first time in the game. Munster fumble the opportunity and the Scarlets emerge with the ball.
Munster finally show some intensity as Lifeimi Mafi and Damien Varley attack. Niall Ronan drives forward and the ball goes to Donncha Ryan, but Munster give away a penalty as they try and go through the phases.
Brilliant feet from Gareth Davies who almost gets away. Almost. Knock ons all over the place as Munster try to get back into this..
Munster are lacking patience with the ball and Scarlets are throwing everything at them..
A great chip over the top by O’Gara, from the line-out just inside his half, gives Zebo chance to Munster on the march. A second kick put Priestland under pressure and Munster get a scrum.
Niall Ronan scores a try for Munster! Outstanding try. O’Gara finds Denis Hurley finds Johne Murphy, and Ronan barges over. Brilliant offloading.
A great carry by Paul O’Connell – his tenth of the game – lands a penalty for Munster and O’Gara puts Munster in the lead for the first time in the game.
Scarlets seem to be slightly hesitant, they haven’t started the half well. Also, Denis Leamy has replaced Peter O’Mahony for Munster.
Just when the Scarlets were on for a try, Jonathan Davies releases a terrible ball to Williams on the wing. Chance wasted.
A great carry from Mafi is thwarted by Matthew Rees, angering the referee, who awards a penalty and tells the Scarlets captain to cop himself on.
Priestland misses yet again. It’s surprising how badly he has struck the ball today. Only two from five.
How crucial will this away win be for Munster, should they see out the last 17 minutes? O’Gara turns away from another penalty, he knows it’s good.
Stephen Jones kicks Scarlets to within three points of Munster. It’s all set up for a brilliant last ten minutes.
Ben Morgan drives forward, so does Jones, so does Jonathan Davies. The Munster defence is keeping things together under the most intense of pressure.
All those phases, all that possession, and it’s wasted as Stephen Jones fumbles the ball and knocks it on.
Excellent kick from Tomás O’Leary, who puts the pressure back on Scarlets to win the line-out.
Magic moments , I hope Botha is ok.
