3pm kick off unless stated:

  • Aston Villa 1-3 Everton
  • Manchester United 3-2 Fulham
  • Norwich 1-1 Queens Park Rangers
  • Southampton 0-2 Wigan
  • Sunderland v Reading (postponed)
  • Tottenham 1-1 West Brom
  • Chelsea v Newcastle, 5.30pm

14.28 – Good afternoon! It’s Premier League Saturday and already there are a number of breaking news stories to bring you.

First thing’s first, we’ve been robbed of one fixture as Sunderland v Reading has been called off due to, wait for it… waterlogging. In August. Crazy stuff.

Anyway, what that means is that six matches are due to start in just over a half hours’ time. In the early game at the Liberty Stadium, life under Michael Laudrup is good. After their 5-0 rout of QPR last weekend, the Swans lead West Ham 3-0 10 minutes to play.

Join Steve for the rest of that here.

14.45Full-time: Swansea 3-0 West Ham

Goals from Angel Rangel, Michu and Danny Graham hand the Welsh outfit a second straight win to put them at the top of the Premier League table ahead of Chelsea on goal difference for a couple of hours at least.

15.26 – BREAKING NEWS: Richard Dunne has told Giovanni Trapattoni that he will be available to play for Ireland in their World Cup 2014 campaign once he recovers from injury. The experienced defender met with the Italian and his assistant Marco Tardelli ahead of the Premier League game against Everton and revealed his intention to continue his international career.

Full story to follow shortly.

15.47 – Down the other end, Fulham are scratching their heads and can’t believe they haven’t pulled one back. Alex Kacaniklic goes by Da Silva far too easily and cross to Mladen Petric. His acrobatic volley is blocked by the hand of David De Gea, then Duff smashed the crossbar.

16.25GOAL! Manchester United 3-2 Fulham (Nemanja Vidic OG)

A mix-up between David De Gea and Nemanja Vidic has thrown the Cottagers a lifeline. The pair get in each other’s way while trying to clear a cross from the left and the ball comes off the Serbian defender and crosses the line.
