Welcome along as round two of the Allianz Football League concludes today. There were wins for Kildare and Donegal last night while the main focus for us today are the Division 1 games in Killarney between Kerry and Dublin and in Castlebar between Mayo and Tyrone.

We’ll also be keeping an eye on the action in the lower divisions. A quick update on Division 2 where the weather has already wreaked havoc with waterlogged pitches resulting in postponements to the games between Galway and Louth in Drogheda and the meeting of Armagh and Wexford in the Athletic Grounds.

But there is still action in Division 2 with Longford at home to Westmeath while Laois face the long trip to Celtic Park to meet Derry.

While in Division 3, Sligo clash with Antrim in Markievicz Park and Wicklow entertain Meath in Aughrim.

Finally in Division 4 today, we have battles between Offaly and Limerick in Tullamore while Leitrim entertain Clare in Carrick-on-Shannon.

There is also hurling action that we’ll be keeping an eye on today. In Enniscorthy, Wexford host Dublin in the Walsh Cup final. While in Croke Park, the All-Ireland JHC club final sees Kilkenny’s Thomastown meet Fullen Gaels of Manchester at 3.45pm. Before that the All-Ireland IHC club final is a clash between St Gabriel’s (London) and Clara of Kilkenny.

A quick recap on yesterday’s GAA action now.

• A dramatic late goal by Liam Watson rescued a draw after extra-time for Loughgiel Shamrocks against St Thomas in the AIB All-Ireland Club SHC semi-final. In the other game, Offaly’s Kilcormac-Killoughey were 1-20 to 1-14 winners over Thurles Sarsfields.
• In the Allianz Football League, Donegal were five-point winners over Down while in the same division, Kildare got the better of Cork.
• Elsewhere, in Division 3 there were wins for Cavan and Fermanagh while Waterford defeated Tipperary in Division 4.
• Clare were crowned Waterford Crystal Cup champions with a victory over Tipperary in Thurles.
• Owen Mulligan captained Tyrone’s Cookstown to the All-Ireland club IFC title against Kerry’s Finuge in Croke Park last night.
• Kerry’s Kenmare finally prevailed against Dublin’s Castleknock in the second replay of the All-Ireland club JFC semi-final.
• And Our Lady’s (Templemore) qualified for the Dr Harty Cup final with a semi-final replay win over Ardscoil Rís.

Division 2 – Ross Munnelly has planted the ball in the net to put Laois ahead 1-4 to 0-5 against Derry in Celtic Park. Elsewhere Longford narrowly lead Westmeath by 0-2 to 0-1.

Division 3 – Kevin Niblock has just pointed a free for Antrim to cut the deficit to 0-5 to 0-3 with Sligo still ahead. In Aughrim Mickey Newman has pushed Meath into a 0-3 to 0-1 lead against Wicklow.

HT – Division 1 – Dublin 0-8 Kerry 0-2: The Dubs lead the way at the break in Killarney. Both sides guilty of missed chances before the break with Bernard Brogan and Paddy Andrews off target for Dublin while James O’Donoghue posted a wide for Kerry.

Division 2 – Derry 1-15 Laois 2-10: Derry have hit the front in Celtic Park but they have also been reduced to 14 men following the dismissal of James Kielt for a second yellow card.

Division 2 – Westmeath 2-6 Longford 1-7: Dessie Dolan has notched Westmeath’s second goal of the game in the 56th minite.

Dublin strike the first goal of the game through Craig Dias as he unleashes a bullet to the net following great work by Bernard Brogan in harrying the Kerry defence to force a turnover. Declan O’Mahony is into the Dublin team for Philly Ryan.

Division 3 – Michael Magill has been sent-off as Antrim are reduced to 13 men against Sligo. The Yeats County men still lead by 1-12 to 0-13. Elsewhere Meath are in control with a 0-16 to 0-7 advantage against Wicklow.

FT – Division 1 – Tyrone 1-12 Mayo 1-11: Dramatic stuff in Castlebar with Stephen O’Neill firing home a 75th minute penalty to hand Tyrone victory. Mayo thought they had claimed success when Jason Doherty sent them two clear with a pair of converted frees but then O’Neill made a decisive intervention.

FT – Division 4: Clare 1-14 Leitrim 2-8: Victory for Mick O’Dwyer’s Clare side away from home, despite Emlyn Mulligan striking a late goal for Leitrim.

FT – Division 4  - Limerick 0-12 Offaly 1-8: Limerick fight back in the second-half to chisel out a narrow victory in Tullamore.

All over in the Walsh Cup final as well with Dublin being crowned champions in Enniscorthy after a 1-19 to 0-16 victory over Wexford.

Kilkenny’s Thomastown have been crowned All-Ireland club JHC champions with a 2-17 to 2-14 win over Fullen Gaels from Manchester in Croke Park this afternoon.
