Dublin claimed the honors in the minor match but who ws going to claim the silverware when Dublin and Meath squared off in this year’s Leinster senior football final?

16.04 – Frenetic stuff early on. Michael Darragh MacAuley as expected playing out the field for Dublin with Alan and Bernard Brogan the duo close to goal. Alan is being picked up by Kevin Reilly with Shane McAnarney marking Bernard.

16.57 – Second-half about to get underway with Meath having made a change at the break as Peadar Byrne is on at half-forward for Damien Carroll.

Was shocked at fennels inclusion in this game, even after half time the boys all ran onto the pitch and he walked on, he must have some dirt on Gilroy. In saying that his tan was really good. Up the dubs, bit of work to do buy still in it

  Sees a Meath player who lives across the rd from me nd he painted his door the colours of the Meath flag such a waste he should change it to the dublin colours my brother was talking to him the other day saying he was going to burn down his Meath flag if he lost and Meath lost nd he made sure to burn the flag down it was gas :)

Hope Alan brogan injury is not too serious. He’s Dublins main man.
Without the 2 goals I think the dubs may have been in trouble.

  Nocturnal, Im a Dub and i was at the match. Im certainly not a ‘knacker’. I meet more people who are ABD because they have some sort of inferiority complex for whatever reason. Sad but true.

  I’d say it’s more to do with the cockiness of SOME of the fans and the way they carry them selves in croker that leads to the ABD syndrome more so than an inferiority complex….
  
  BTW I’m not from Meath and I’m not a “ABD”… I was delighted to see them win the AI last year!!

Dis morning my man was looking out the window at the Meath players house nd he jus came bk from the gym ” I suppose he was trying to get a bit fit to keep up wit the Dublin players” of course he didn’t stand a chance how does it feel in meath having 9 Dublin flags and only 3 Meath flags on 3 rows of houses DUBLIN all the way lads :)
