14.05Throw in: They’re underway at Austin Stack park and Dingle will be playing with the wind in this first half.

14.136 mins. St Kieran’s 0-3 Dingle 0-1

Paul Geaney responds to Kierans early dominance with a fine score from play. but a high effort from distance by Eamon John has restored Kierans’s lead despite playing against the wind.

14.2214 mins: St Kierans 0-4 Dingle 1-1

We’re level midway through the first half. st Kierans register another score from play, making light work of the supposed wind disadvantage.

… but as I write a penalty is awarded to Dingle. Paul Geaney drageed down inside the square and

GOAL: St Kierans 0-4 Dingle 2-1

And it’s Daithi Geaney to provide another thumping finish from Dingle, this one from the spot.

14.34GOAL: St Kierans 0-4 Dingle 3- 1

There’s goal number three for Dingle, and it’s Geaney again!! Paul again. he reacted quickest after Phil Galvin was stripped of the ball and the Dingle man stabbed the finish home with his toe.

But immediately, Dingle give St Kevins a lifeline as Ed Walsh is rugby tackled in the square. This one is threatening to boil over.

Tom McGoldrick, however, opts for placement instead of power and it’s SAVED!

14.38HALF TIME Navan O’Mahony’s 0-04 Donaghmore/Ashbourne 0-07

Donaghmore/Ashbourne dominated the opening quarter of this game, leading by 0-5 to 0-2 ad one stage before O’Mahoney’s clawed their way back into he game.

14.39HALF TIME: St Kieran’s 0-5 Dingle 3-1

14.53Navan O’Mahony’s 0-06 Donaghmore/Ashbourne 0-07

Barry Regan has landed a fine score from distance to get Navan O’Mahoney’s on the front foot in the second half. Can they push the momentum in their favour now?

It looks like it, because Shane Gillespie has just launched another ditant shot. This one is from play, but the result is the same, between the posts.

Just a point in it now.

15.07St Kieran’s 0-8 Dingle 3-2

A vital score for Dingle, a free from Paul Geaney. Just their second point of the game, but St Kieran’s hit straight back again, O’Donoghue fouled en route to goal. no advantage given, so the free-kick is handed to James Walsh and he converts a handy one.

15.13 – Down in Kerry, Dingle look to pulling away thanks to frees from Joe Sheehy and Paul Geaney. But Kierans just will not lie down Seams Scanlon with one of two points from play and a free.

10 minutes left on the clock.

Dingle  3-04 St Kieran’s 0-11.

15.17Navan O’Mahony’s 0-10 Donaghmore/Ashbourne 0-09

Donaghmore/Ashbourne supporters thought they had won it as the ball found it’s way to the net. But the referee sees it as a ball thrown into the net. No goal.

15.30 – We’re 12 minutes into the Wexford SHC where Des Mythen has just put Oulart-the-Ballagh ahead for the second time.

Oulart-the-Ballagh 0-2 Faythe Harriers 0-1

15.37 – Time for throw-in in the second Kerry SFC semi. Any chance for Laune Rangers against Dr Crokes? They think so.

15.439 mins: Thurles Sarsfields 0-5 Drom & Inch 0-3

Our first update from the Tipperary SHC final finds Sarsfields in control early on, Aidan McCormack with the latest score from play for them.

15.49 – The Longford SFC final is off and running.

Emmet Óg Killoe 0-01 Longford Slashers 0 -02

15.55GOAL: Dr. Crokes 0-2 Laune Rangers 1-0

Maybe a shock just might be on the cards in the Kerry SFC semi final. And in the Meath equivalent…

GOAL: Seneschalstown 0-00  Wolfe Tones 1 -0

Stephen Shepherd gets the finish for Wolfe Tones in Navan.

16.02Throw in: Tuam Stars 0-0 Salthill-Knocknacarra 0-1.

We’ll be keeping a close eye on the Galway decider, which is just four minutes and one score old.

16.07 – Half time in the Wexford SHC flew by. Oulart, took a one point lead in at the break, but Harriers instantly levelled matters with the first attack of the second half.

However…

GOAL: Oulart-the-Ballagh 1-6 Faythe Harriers 0-6

Rory Jacob fires in the first maximum score of the game to put Oulart in control after five minutes of the second half.

16.17 – Wexford SHC final latest.

43 mins: Faythe Harriers 0-8 Oulart-The Ballagh 1-9

Cian ward has two points from play in Navan and six overall to keep enusre Wolfe Tones are in control at the break.

16.25 – Just past the first quarter in the Armagh SFC final, Cross edging it so far.

20 mins: Crossmaglen 1-3  Pearse Ogs 0-4

16.2855 mins:  Faythe Harriers 0-12 Oulart-The Ballagh 2-12

Oulart closing in on the wexofrd SHC finish line.

16.34 – In the Kerry SFC semi final Dr Crokes have fired an incredible 10 wides. But they still lead, Colm Cooper bringing his tally to three.

Dr Crokes 0-6 Laune Rangers 1-1

16.41HALF TIME: De La Salle 1-11 Dungarvan 0-7

De La Salle have one hand on the county title as they lead Dungarvan by seven points at the break.

16.43FULL TIME:  Oulart the Ballagh 2-12. Faythe Harriers 0-13

Oulart are champions of Wexford and they will face the winners of Cuala v Kilmacud in the Leinster championship.

16.56 – Still no separating the best teams Galway have to offer:

Tuam Stars 0-6 Salthill-Knocknacarra 0-6

16.59FULL TIME: Thurles Sarsfields 1-21 Drom & Inch 2-15

Sarsfields withstand a late fightback from Drom and they take the Tipperary SHC title.

17.11 – We have a disgruntled commenter, Rache Howe, unhappy that Longford Slasher’s forward progress was halted by the referee who evidently felt a draw was a fair result…

FULL TIME: Emmet Óg Killoe 0-7 Longford Slashers 0-7.

17.1354 mins: Salthill Knocknacarra 0-10 Tuam Stars 0-07

The sides could not be separated over the first half, but Salthill have sown their teeth in the second half of this stormy Galway SFC final

17.28 – We’re approaching full time in Clones where Ballbay hold  a six point lead over Clontibret…. strike that: ‘held’.

GOAL: Ballybay 1-11 Clontibret 2-5

Clontibret have given themselves a chance of an unlikely draw after a hopeful punt to the square was somehow bundled into the net.

17.35FULL TIME:  Crossmaglen Rangers 3-9 Pearse Óg 0-11

Just the 40 Armagh titles for Rangers. Jamie Clarke was, predictably enough, amongst the goals.

17.48 – And so, we’ve whittled the games down totwo. And it sounds like a cracker drawing to a close in the galway SHC quarter final.

55 mins: Portumna 0-14 Turloughmore 0-14

Tourloughmore  had led at half time only to be dragged back into by this talented Portumna side.

17.50GOAL: Cratloe 1-12 Inagh Kilnamona 0-13

McInerney pounces to give Cratloe the lead and it could scarcely have come at a better time. Just two minutes on the clock.

18.05 – And last, but by no means least, The Clare SHC semi comes to an end.

FULL TIME: Inagh-Kilnamona 0-14 Cratloe 1-14

Cratloe roar back in the second half after trailing 0-10 to 0-5 at the break. Cathal McInerney with the decisive three-pointer at the death.

18.10 – That’s it from me folks. We hope at least one of those results leaves you happy on this dank Sunday afternoon.

There was so much action at one time, I hope we managed to get a handle on most of it for you.

What was the shock of the day for you? Portumna (despite 12 points from Joe Canning) falling to Tourloughmore must be right up there.

Good night, safe home.
