Lions heartbreaker says there's nothing like a bit of man love after scoring winning try

Adam Ashley-Cooper was all hugs and smiles after delivering a huge victory for his country.

ADAM ASHLEY-COOPER shattered the Lions dreams of a series whitewash over Australia and will be hoping to play a key role in the third and deciding Test in Sydney this Saturday.

The Waratahs centre, who evaded Jonathan Davies for the match-winning try at the weekend, was still elated when he caught up with Australian broadcaster Fox Sports after his side’s 16-15 win in Melbourne.

Cooper, who was an injury doubt after temporarily popping his shoulder out of place in the First Test, admitted that he should have dotted down nearer the posts but thanked midfield partner Christian Leali’ifano for striking the conversion to give the Wallabies the crucial one-point lead. He also joked that he was glad winger Joe Tomane was nearby to give him some man love after his try.
