Madame Tussaud’s new Leo Messi wax figure cost them £150,000

The Messi replica was revealed at Wembley Stadium on Wednesday.

HOURS BEFORE THE real Lionel Messi hit another Champions League double to help Barcelona past Spartak Moscow, Madame Tussauds revealed their new wax figure of the little Argentinian at Wembley Stadium yesterday.

Now you can’t put a price on Messi’s footballing genius but you can put one on this life-size replica — it cost a cool £150,000 and took over four months to make.

Yup. £150,000.

It’s a small price to pay when you realise that there is already a Cristiano Ronaldo model on display as part of Madame Tussauds’ Interactive Sports Zone (whatever that is).

Somewhere out there, you can bet that CR7 is in a huff because Leo is hogging the limelight again.
