Lingerie Football League to hold open try-outs in Dublin

The LFL are set to recruit Irish women for a new team, they say.

THE LINGERIE FOOTBALL league say they are set to hold open trials for a new Dublin team.

The controversial LFL — which recently rebranded as the Legends Football League — say they plan to recruit Irish women for an ‘Irish franchise’ to compete in their European league of American football teams who play in skimpy uniforms.

“This is certainly an exciting time to be part of the LFL and a fan as the sport continues its unprecedented growth globally,” a statement reads. “It’s amazing to think that women from places like Germany, Italy, Russia and other places all over the world are aware of our sport and aspire to play on the now global stage of LFL Football.”

Details of the Dublin trials will be made publicly soon, they say.
