HOW ABOUT THIS for a hit?
Miami Marlins slugger Giancarlo Stanton hit his ninth home run of the season against the Colorado Rockies on Monday night – but this one was a bit special.
Stanton’s 438-foot drive was hit so hard that when it crashed into the scoreboard out in left field, it temporarily knocked out a block of lights.
“I keep saying, this kid is very strong, I’ve never seen anything like that,” Miami manager Ozzie Guillen told MLB.com. “I don’t see a ball come off of a bat like that.”
The Marlins won 7-4.
