UPDATED 22.45
BRIAN O’DRISCOLL WAS forced to exit today’s Pro12 semi-final against Ulster early after the world record holder of caps appeared to be knocked out cold after attempting to tackle Iain Henderson.
Post-match, head coach Matt O’Connor initially said that both O’Driscoll and Fergus McFadden (who was also forced off injured) were fine, but when pressed on O’Driscoll, added:
“A bit of a bang on his neck and a bit of a bang on his head, but he’s down there [in the dressing room] and he knows exactly what he’s doing.”
In an attritional game, O’Connor said that Dave Kearney had “tweaked” his knee while Isaac Boss, who was pulled out of the squad before kick-off, suffered a minor aggravation of a calf injury.

Why would you say he clashed heads with Henderson when he clearly didn’t. Come on, at least get that right.
Henderson must have a head on his hips!
Spot on lads. I’ve changed the wording now.
Might want to change “nutritional” to “attritional” there also Sean ;)
Mmmm nutritional. I had crisps
The toughest games are always nutritional
Thought they made a bit of a meal of it
Hope leinster win, just to give o’driscoll the hurrah he deserves :)
Well he can the official goodbye to concussion now
He was lucky… It’s was nearly a career ending injury
After all bod has done that’s like so unfair #allezlesbleus
As much as I live the man, I won’t miss his kicking. Another prime reason why tonight!
