Leighton Baines gives 2 lucky Everton fans a lift to the game

The Toffees defender is quizzed about his future and meeting the Arctic Monkeys on the road trip to Blackburn.

LEIGHTON BAINES’ EVERTON future may be up in the air but the full-back proved he is a decent lad by giving two Toffees fans a lift to their pre-season friendly with Blackburn over the weekend.

The England defender, who is being targeted by Manchester United, picked up the pair en route to Ewood Park in Lancashire.

Admitting that they’ve had a few “bevvies”, the men grill him about United, David Moyes and Glastonbury among other topics in their thick Scouse accents.

Baines gives nothing away during the poorly-recorded three-and-a-half minute clip but remains polite and good-humoured throughout the conversation.
