Cleveland ready for trade that would give them enough money to sign LeBron

Will he or won’t he?

LEBRON JAMES’S FUTURE continues to dominate the sports news cycle in America.

Now it looks like The Decision II will boil down to a straight shootout between the Miami Heat and the team he left in such acrimonious circumstances to go to South Beach, the Cleveland Cavaliers.

James reportedly met with Heat officials yesterday but did not make any decision on where he will play next season.

Meanwhile the Cavs are positioning themselves to strike by freeing up enough space on their wage bill to make a move for LeBron a reality.

ESPN reports that they will complete a three-team trade today which would see Jarret Jack and Sergey Karasev move to the Brooklyn Nets and Tyler Zeller move to the Boston Celtics.

The move would give the Cavs another $9.5 million in wages to play with, taking their salary cap space to $21.7 million — which would crucially allow them to offer James a maximum contract to tempt him home.

Wonder what LeBron makes of all this? Well, he’s expected to fly out to Brazil for the World Cup final so don’t expect another live ESPN TV special any time soon.
