LIVERPOOL DIDN’T HAVE the best of starts at Craven Cottage tonight but recovered to claim a crucial 3-2 victory against Fulham.

Kolo Toure won’t want to see this  moment again from the early stages of the game when he sliced Kieran Richardson’s cross over the head of goalkeeper Simon Mignolet in the 8th minute.

Daniel Sturridge saved his blushes by bringing Liverpool level at half-time and scoring for the eighth successive match, after a superb pass by Steven Gerrard.

Fulham went ahead again after Kieran Richardson scored in the 63rd minute but Philippe Coutinho brought Liverpool level at 2-2 in the 72nd minute when he curled a shot past goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg.

And then Steven Gerrard proved the Liverpool hero with an injury-time winner from the penalty spot after Sascha Riether brought down Sturridge in the box.
