4 changes to Kilkenny team for Leinster U21 Hurling final

The Cats meet Wexford in the provincial decider tomorrow night.

RICHIE REID STARTS for Kilkenny in tomorrow’s Bord Gáis Energy Leinster U21 Hurling final against Wexford.

Reid, the younger brother of senior star TJ Reid, is one of four changes to the team which battled past Offaly in the provincial semi-finals.

Pat Duggan comes in at corner-back while Conor Martin and Michael Brennan are named at corner-forward. They replace Jack Nolan, Jason Corcoran, Shane Donnelly and the injured Cillian Buckley.

Full-forward Ger Aylward plays his second game in five days after helping the seniors to their crucial qualifier win over Tipperary, while Willie Phelan, Padraig Walsh and captain Brian Kennedy were all on the bench in Saturday’s victory.

Throw-in at Wexford Park is at 7.30pm.
