Kildare side for O'Byrne Cup semi-final named

The game starts at 2pm this Sunday, with the winners set to face DCU or Meath in the final.

KILDARE’S TEAM TO face UCD in Sunday’s O’Byrne Cup clash with UCD in Newbridge has been named.

The defending champions overcame Carlow in the last round of matches, while UCD qualified for the semis via a win over Laois.

The game is due to start at 2pm, with the winners set to face DCU or Meath in the final.

Kildare team to face UCD: Shane Connolly; Mick O’Grady, Mick Foley, Hugh McGrillen; David Hyland, Fergal Conway, Emmet Bolton; Tommy Moolick, Gary White; Cathal McNally, Eoghan O’Flaherty, Paul Cribbin; Paddy Brophy, Darroch Mulhall, Padraig Fogarty.
