MICK FOLEY, TOMÁS O’Connor and Eoghan O’Flaherty are all back in the Kildare team to play Monaghan in Saturday’s All-Ireland football Round 4B qualifier

But opponents Monaghan have named an unchanged side from that which lost the Ulster final against Donegal.

The experienced Kildare trio are all selected to start as the Lilywhites seek to build on their narrow win over Clare a fortnight ago in Ennis.

O’Connor and O’Flaherty both came off the bench in that game to help engineer a fightback as Kildare came from six points down to win by 0-13 to 0-12. O’Flaherty kicked 0-3 and was instrumental in their revival.

He is named at left corner-forward with O’Connor alongside him at full-forward while further back the pitch Foley will anchor the defence at the edge of the square

The three players to make way are Emmet Bolton, Gary White and Padraig Fogarty.

Positional switches see Mick O’Grady go to corner-back, Ollie Lyons switch to wing-back, Padraig O’Neill shift to midfield and Eamonn Callaghan move to wing-forward.

Throw-in on Saturday night is 7pm.
