Connacht scrum half Kieran Marmion escapes ban

He’s free to play for the Wolfhounds against the Saxons on Saturday.

KIERAN MARMION IS free to play for the Ireland Wolfhounds this weekend after ERC bosses decided against a ban today.

The Connacht scrum half was cited for an incident which occurred during the defeat to Saracens in the Heineken Cup last weekend.

The citing was upheld but the offence was deemed ‘not worthy of a red card’.

Great news for Marmion. At least he can show his worth this weekend, that he deserves to wear the no. 9 jersey for Ireland.
