KIERAN DONAGHY WILL have a scan today on the injury which he picked up during Kerry’s McGrath Cup opener against IT Tralee.
The Austin Stacks man started in an unfamiliar midfield role for Eamon Fitzmaurice’s first game as Kingdom boss and impressed before he was forced off in the closing stages of the 4-22 to 0-10 win.
Although Donaghy is due to miss the opening two rounds of the Allianz National Football League as he is getting married and going on honeymoon, Fitzmaurice must now wait to see if the two-time All-Star will be available for Sunday’s quarter-final against UCC in Fitzgerald Stadium.
