VIDEO: Racist abuse prompts Boateng to kick ball into stands, walk off in protest

A friendly game between AC Milan and fourth division Pro Patria was halted after the incident this afternoon.

A FRIENDLY GAME featuring AC Milan was suspended earlier today after alleged racist abuse directed at Kevin Prince Boateng saw the midfielder lose his cool.

The Serie A giants were playing fourth tier side Pro Patria this afternoon, when the German-born Ghana international received the ball in the opposing half with 25 minutes on the clock.  He looks to take on the full-back before incredibly picking up the ball, turning around and blasting it towards the crowd.

Boateng then removes his jersey and walks off the pitch in protest with both sets of players following suit.
