The 37-year-old ex-Bolton striker will sit out the next month of League One action with his club Preston North End.

Davies is at an age when keeping trim isn’t easy, and it’s all the more difficult when hampered by a broken rib. So here’s the “aggressive” plan from PNE’s nutritional staff:
