In pictures: Kent High School try to pick up Trinners' winning touch

The high schoolers trained today in Trinity College ahead of Friday night’s match in Parnell Park.

KENT HIGH SCHOOL’S American football team found themselves in unfamiliar surroundings this afternoon, far from their familiar training pitches in Connecticut.

The team, led by coach Todd Marble, togged out in the historic surroundings of Trinity College, Dublin as they continued preparations for their game in Parnell Park on Friday night.

Kent take on the National School of American Football All-Star team (UK), one of six high school football games organised as part of the build-up to Saturday’s Emerald Isle Classic between Notre Dame and Navy in the Aviva Stadium.

St Mary’s GAA club saggart hosted John Carroll University today also. They’re playing Friday in Donnybrook. 80 odd players and only half them came over. Some set up, good to watch them train..
