turn of phrase

Jurgen Klopp has a rather brilliant way with words

As if we needed another reason to love the Dortmund coach.

WHEN JURGEN KLOPP was asked just how Dortmund’s new signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan would fit into his club’s system, everyone’s favourite manager replied with what must be the quote of the year:

“passt wie Arsch auf Eimer”

For those of you who don’t speak German, the phrase translates roughly as:

“Like an arse in a bucket.”

According to our research, this is a pretty standard German colloquialism and is used to signify that something will fit quite perfectly thank you very much.

For what it’s worth, here’s the sort of play Mkhitaryan offers Dortmund.
