A MAN IN his sixties from Dublin’s north side has won in excess of €38,000 after accurately predicting the winners of four races drawn from yesterday’s action at Leopardstown, Doncaster and Cheltenham.
The retiree, who has since declined to be identified, placed the €32 bet, a Lucky Fifteen accumulator, with bookmakers Paddy Power.
Victories with Citizenship (10/1) at Leopardstown, Calgary Bay (12/1) at Doncaster and Batonnier (12/1) at Cheltenham drew the unnamed customer within a single result of a mammoth pay-day, but it wasn’t until Katie Walsh’s successful ride in the 3.20 at Leopardstown that the outcome was guaranteed.
Paddy Power spokesperson Sharon McHugh claimed the bookmaker was “delighted” with the story:
“It’s not often you see €32 being turned in to €38,000 but when it happens it’s fantastic.”
well done, cash it in dont leave it in bank
Noiiiiice!! Even
It said in the article that it was a Lucky 15 bet. A €1 ew Lucky 15 & a €1 ew Accum would’ve cost €32 and paid €38000 at those odds.
€32 4-bet accumulator at 12/1, 10/1, 12,1 and 7/1 (Seabass) would’ve paid €475,904! Back to the counter!
Fair Play to him!
Delighted for him fair play to him
She put the specs on to check her calculations again Dave.

hmmm? Really happy for this guy – but why do I feel this is a promotional piece disguised as news?
