WE DON’T WATCH a huge amount of European basketball but we did spot Ball Don’t Lie’s post on former NBA star Joey Dorsey, who shattered the backboard with this monster two-handed dunk while playing for Olympiakos on Wednesday.

Even better than the act of shattering the board is the fact that it was all premeditated, as Dorsey explained afterwards.

“I broke probably four backboards in my entire life. This is the first one I broke professionally.

“A couple of guys on the bench were saying that I kept talking about [how] I could’ve broken the one in Karpenissi but I didn’t get a chance to.

“Coach put me in for the last three minutes. [Kostas] Papanikolaou passed me the ball and I went up with all my power and tried to break it.

“I feel good. I pleased the fans. All the fans went crazy and everybody ran on the floor and the game ended so it felt good.

“Two minutes left in the game and they called the game over. Finished.”
