Man City cruise over Spurs after Navas’ first-minute opener

The Spanish winger put Manchester City ahead at the Etihad Stadium.

MANCHESTER CITY HAD the perfect start to their Premier League meeting with Spurs as Jesus Navas scored inside the first minute.

The Spaniard was first to react to a Sergio Aguero strike which was parried by Hugho Lloris and produced a great finish with just 15 seconds played.

On 34 minutes, the home side scored a second when Alvaro Negredo’s effort found the back of the net via a deflection off Sandro and Sergio Aguero made it 3-0 before the half-time whistle went.
