SOUTHAMPTON WENT DOWN to 10 men during their 0-0 draw with Everton tonight – but it wasn’t due to injury or a red card.
Saints winger Jason Puncheon was forced to leave the pitch temporarily in the second half before swiftly returning. Fans at St Mary’s came to the same conclusion as most of us and then broke into several potty-mouthed chants.
We wonder whether he did a Robbie Savage on it and used the ref’s jax…
