JONATHAN SEXTON TODAY signed a contract with Racing Metro, according to French newspaper L’Equipe.

The Ireland out half was heavily linked with the Top 14 heavyweights in January when the IRFU confirmed Sexton would not be signing a new central contract.

L’Equipe says sources indicate the two-year deal is worth €600,000 with  an additional 12-month option.

The Leinster man is currently out of contention for Ireland’s 6 Nations games with a hamstring injury, picked up against England last time out.
