He’ll be one of the highest payed rugby stars and when you compare him to what the players in the premier league earn that would be a low salary. Soccer would be a much better sport with rugby salaries imo..

Sexton is my favourite player, and I’m a die hard Leinster fan. But even though him moving to France is shit for me & most of the other Leinster fans, I wish him the best of luck & hope he has a very successful 2 years there..

Surely going to France to play in a much tougher more competitive league than the pro 12 will improve him as a player. Foreign players have been one of the reasons why our provinces have been so successfully.

Deal works out at about €750k per season . Feel that he is going there at the right time for him . Its a once in a lifetime deal . Will be interesting to see what toll if any it will have on him physically as he will be playing a lot more games against some of the best players on the planet and he will be their target .
