VIDEO: Israel Folau starts his season with a Super Rugby hat-trick

The Wallabies fullback got on the end of three Waratahs attack to earn himself a trio of tries.

ISRAEL FOLAU WAS a sensation in his first season of rugby union in 2013, so it will be hugely exciting to follow his progress again this year. The Waratahs fullback got his campaign off to a flying start as he scored three tries in his side’s 43-21 win over the Western Force this weekend.

While it was the good work of his teammates that allowed Folau to benefit on all three occasions, his scoring rate now stands at 11 tries in 15 Super Rugby games overall. Add in his 10 Test tries in 15 starts for Australia and Folau’s record gets even more impressive.

The Wallaby is a physical freak and a hugely dangerous attacking player.
